We are seeking a skilled manual machinist for our client in Porvoo who is comfortable working in versatile tasks and is prepared to work both in a workshop and at customer production facilities. The role mainly involves manual turning/milling on the company’s premises, with additional on-site machining, i.e., machining, repair and restoration work at customer sites. The job offers variety as you solve practical challenges where machines and equipment are in operation. You will utilize lathes, milling machines and other manual machines. The job requires accuracy, ability to read drawings and the capacity to work independently in different environments. The work environment is modern and safe, with quality, responsibility and good cooperation guiding operations. We expect you to have experience in manual machining or vocational training in the metal industry, good drawing-reading skills, accuracy in measurements, strong command of measuring instruments, initiative and responsibility, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, willingness to travel to customer sites, a B-driver’s license for movement between sites, and to work regularly at customer sites across Finland. The job site is located in the Porvoo area, with regular work at customer sites around Finland.
