Your presence brings safety – come help create a happy childhood! We are seeking a child day care worker for Touhula Satuvekara in Ylöjärvi Metsäkylä. Two buildings on the same plot form the Satuveka daycare complex. Cooperation between the houses happens regularly and we share events and theme days. The language theme appears in both houses as follows: we read many books to the children daily, rhymes and songs are part of our daily activities, and we also practice oral language through mouth exercises. We also use drama and theater in our activities. We also run week-long literature-themed sessions with various workshop activities. In the larger groups there is introduction to English. Both houses have children of all ages, so vacancies exist for all age groups. Staff satisfaction is high in both houses. Would you bring us new energy and expertise in language themes? Job task as a child day care worker: As a child day care worker you are an important part of a team that creates a safe, inspiring and learning-supportive everyday life for children. You participate in supporting the child’s growth, development and learning together with the team, families and the whole work community. Your core tasks are: - Implementing pedagogy: participate in planning and evaluating high-quality early childhood education as part of the team, utilizing your strengths. Implement small-group and full-day pedagogy in line with Touhula Rhythm. - Responsibility for own small group: be responsible for your own small group’s activities and participate in pedagogical documentation and the drafting of the child’s early childhood education plans with the team. - Caring for the learning environment: ensure the child group’s learning environment is diverse, safe and tidy. - Positive customer experience: build trust and open interaction with families. We offer the kindergarten child day care worker a salary for full-time employees in the range 2449.58–2749.79 €/month. The final salary is determined by years of work experience and possible position-specific or personal pay supplements.
