Fysioterapeut

We are looking for an independent, motivated and self-driven physiotherapist to join our wonderful therapy team. This is a full-time temporary position for parental leave replacement from 31 August 2026 to 9 April 2027. The applicant should be genuinely motivated and enthusiastic about working with elderly residents with dementia. The position is located at two elderly care homes: Attendo Pihlakartano (2 days/week) and Attendo Liisankoti (1 day/week). On two days per week you will work with individual clients, visiting different Attendo homes and providing private physiotherapy to self-paid clients. Your duties as a physiotherapist are diverse and include: assessing residents’ functional capacity and supporting it through individual and group guidance; developing the operations of your own unit in a multidisciplinary team; assessing, acquiring and instructing use of assistive devices; guiding staff towards rehabilitative working methods and ergonomic practices; and providing individual rehabilitation as an added service. For this position you must have: a physiotherapist degree; a driving license and own car; the ability to handle a varied and mobile work role; good communication and teamwork skills; vaccination protection as required by Infectious Diseases Act section 48 for the duration of employment; a criminal record extract for employment longer than three months; social and health care sector professional card.
