Technical Recruiter

Linear is a remote-first company with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. This role is open to candidates based in North America (Eastern time zone) with a strong preference for the New York City area. You will partner with engineering leaders to understand teams, develop hiring strategies, and own searches across product, infrastructure, AI, mobile, and other technical areas. Responsibilities include building a high-quality pipeline through mapping, sourcing, referrals, and long-term relationship development; conducting in-depth recruiter assessments; maintaining momentum and clear ownership; and ensuring data quality in Ashby. What we’re looking for includes 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, exceptional sourcing, strong judgment, credibility with engineers and managers, excellent communication, and the ability to operate in a small, distributed team.
