A well-built tomorrow is made together. We are looking for experienced construction site engineers for railway construction projects. We carry out railway works of all sizes throughout Finland. Our strength is our broad expertise, and we are particularly interested in railway projects requiring specialist expertise, such as railways built through growing urban centres. You can find more information about us at Väylät – radat, tiet ja sillat | YIT.fi. The duties require readiness to travel because the projects are located throughout Finland. As a construction site engineer, together with the site manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the project is carried out in line with its objectives in areas such as scheduling, finances, quality, procurement and environmental matters. Your duties may include optimising schedules, financial monitoring, quality assurance, and carrying out key procurements competitively and to a high standard. You are skilled at producing high-quality reports. What will help you succeed in this role: - At least three years of experience in comparable railway construction duties. - An engineering degree in construction, construction manager qualification or other suitable construction education. - Ability to use various systems and digital tools in daily work. - A proactive and solution-oriented approach. You are collaborative and innovative, flexible and open-minded, and willing to challenge yourself.
