Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are currently seeking a bold and results-oriented assistant restaurant manager to lead our top team in the restaurant and conference operations of Original Sokos Hotel Vaasa. In this role you will act as a supervisor in the hotel’s restaurants Rossos, VEN N, and SKY Bar & Terrace. Responsibilities: lead and motivate the daily work of the restaurant team and build an encouraging work culture; ensure your team has the best possible conditions to succeed; ensure an excellent guest service experience and continuously improve service quality; monitor business metrics, identify opportunities, and take actions to safeguard profitability; develop operating methods for the restaurant and conference activities and bring development ideas into practice; communicate clearly and keep your team informed about targets and changes; operate in an in-house role especially during evenings and weekends. Requirements: experience as an assistant restaurant manager or restaurant manager; ability to lead people by example, motivate the team, and create a good working atmosphere; understanding of restaurant business and its key figures; courage to make decisions and implement them; fluent Finnish and English; Swedish language skills are considered a big plus; hygiene and alcohol service pass.
