Sales Assistant, S-Market Kommila

Primary location: Varkaus S-Market Kommila is now looking for a sales assistant for a permanent part-time position, doing ordinary work among exceptionally nice colleagues. Agreed working hours: 15 hours/week Work starts: by agreement in November Market Manager Suvi describes working at Kommila as follows: “For us, the customer experience, doing things #together with the work community and developing the store are the most important things. You get to carry out a wide range of retail tasks, from customer service and stocking shelves to placing S-kaupat orders.” As a sales assistant, your days will have a varied rhythm, involving customer service, checkout work, unloading deliveries and stocking shelves. Your duties also include picking S-kaupat orders and managing food waste and product availability. We will give you a broad introduction to all kinds of store work. The work is active and fast-paced, so the days fly by and the work does not become monotonous. This job suits you if you enjoy customer interactions and working with people. You meet customers genuinely and with a service-minded attitude, and you want to help both customers and colleagues succeed. The changing pace of retail work requires you to handle several things at once and prioritise your work. We value an energetic and careful approach, a curious attitude and a desire to keep learning. The work is shift-based, with shifts scheduled approximately between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m., so you must be able to work different shifts. We require fluent Finnish. Previous work experience in retail is valued.
