Gym Ambassador

Are you an energetic people person who enjoys the gym and wants to create a positive community around you? We are now looking for a Gym Ambassador to join our Fitness24Seven team in Oulu. In this role, you are a visible face of the gym, a community builder and an important part of our customers’ everyday training experience. As a Gym Ambassador, your task is to ensure that every customer at our gym feels welcome, gets help when needed and feels part of our community. You will work at the Group centre in central Oulu and at our gyms in Karjasilta and Limingantulli. This is a part-time job of 9 hours/week, with shifts on weekdays (3 hours/shift, 16:00–19:00), and the starting pay is €12.30 per hour. 💥 Your role As a Gym Ambassador, you are an important part of our customers’ daily training experience. For us, the role is not about sitting behind a reception desk. Instead, through your presence you create a pleasant, community-minded atmosphere, actively meet our members and ensure everyone feels welcome at our gym. You also support customers with basic questions about training and help new members get started smoothly. You help build a positive gym culture, support events and campaigns, and develop the customer experience by gathering feedback and identifying areas for improvement. You are an important link between customers and the gym and help direct customers to the right services when needed. Your key tasks include: Actively meeting customers and creating a positive training environment Guiding customers in equipment use and safe training Introducing new members to the gym’s services Supporting events, campaigns and member activities Gathering customer feedback and bringing forward improvement ideas Thanks to our fantastic employees, Fitness24Seven’s customer satisfaction is high year after year, and that is a matter of pride for us. You create the atmosphere at the gym, ensure our members enjoy their time there and encourage them with your cheerful attitude. ✨ What we hope for from you A customer-service mindset and energetic communication Previous experience in guidance situations and/or being in the public eye Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations A sense of responsibility and independence Ability to communicate fluently in Finnish and English Education in sports or exercise, or a sporting background, is an advantage, but not essential.
