Software Developer

Join a team developing intelligent software solutions for mobile machine control. We are looking for a software developer to be responsible for implementing control systems in demanding client projects. You will do concrete development work where solutions do not stay on the drawing board but end up in real machines and usage around the world. In addition to familiar AI tools we use our own local AI compute units enabling testing of new solutions. We continuously develop our tools and practices and you will influence how AI is used in everyday software development. You will bring your own view to this work: where can AI speed up work, how can it improve quality, and where is expert judgment needed. You will have room to challenge established ways and to bring good ideas into practice with the team. What we expect from you: experience with C or C++ programming; experience or interest in logic programming; understanding of vehicle networks and protocols (e.g., CANopen, J1939); experience with CAN-based applications; understanding of software development processes and life cycle; experience with software testing and quality assurance; initiative and solution-oriented mindset; ability to work in a team and independently; ability to communicate clearly with customers and drive matters toward common goals. Nice to have: experience in embedded systems development; knowledge of vehicle/industrial machine environments; understanding of real-time systems; knowledge of version control (e.g., Git); experience with Linux-based development; experience with other programming languages (e.g., C#, Python, Rust); experience with UI design or UI development; experience with AI-assisted software development and interest in developing team tools and practices.
