Part-Time Accountant

We are looking for an independent and self-directed accountant to take charge of the bookkeeping of subsidiaries. You will be the designated contact for client companies and take comprehensive responsibility for their financial administration, from accounts payable and receivable through to financial statements. You will work closely with the finance manager and the rest of the team. We offer you an interesting and independent role in the food industry. You will join a close-knit, knowledgeable team with an excellent team spirit. You will work in attractive office premises in Helsinki, with flexible opportunities for remote work. The role is part-time, approximately 15 hours per week. Your responsibilities include independently handling subsidiaries’ day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable, monthly closings, financial statements and tax returns: - Managing accounts payable, processing purchase invoices and putting them into circulation - Preparing monthly closings and monthly reviews - Independently preparing financial statements and tax returns - Reviewing and monitoring cost centres - Answering client companies’ day-to-day questions by email We are looking for: - Previous experience in independent bookkeeping and preparing financial statements - Good knowledge of the Netvisor system - Fluent Finnish - Good skills in Office applications We consider the following an advantage: - Relevant financial administration education, such as accounting studies or a KLT qualification - Swedish and English language skills - Familiarity with the Easor system To succeed in the role, you are sociable, organised, responsible, confident and respectful.
