Construction laborer in Helsinki Work as a construction laborer in Helsinki! We are looking for energetic workers for gig work at construction sites! If you enjoy physical work and like seeing the tangible results of your own work, this could be for you. Job description: Your workday consists of varied assisting tasks in construction, such as carrying, cleaning and clearing, hauling materials, and assisting with different demolition tasks. The work is physical and active, so you will stay on the move throughout the workday. You will also work alongside more experienced construction professionals, assist them with different work stages, and build your own skills in construction. The work is on a gig basis, and workdays are mainly weekdays from 7:00 to 15:30. Worksites vary, so we hope you are ready to travel between different sites. The changing sites also give you the chance to see different kinds of worksites. To succeed in the role: A hands-on attitude and readiness to take on physical work. We value people who confidently tackle different tasks and see what they start through to completion. Previous work experience or studies in construction are considered an advantage, but you can also start in this role without previous experience. The most important things are good work motivation and a desire to develop. Having access to your own car is considered an advantage and makes it easier to travel between sites, but it is not essential for the job. The role requires: You must be of legal age. You must know Finnish. You must have a valid Occupational Safety Card approved by the Finnish Centre for Occupational Safety. You must be ready to do physically strenuous work.
