CNC Machinist

CNC machinist – come and develop your skills in Ikaalinen Do you have metalworking education and some experience in CNC machining? This could be your next job. You do not need to be a seasoned CNC expert; what matters most is basic competence in the field, motivation and a willingness to learn more. You will join an experienced work community and carry out a varied range of machining work. What does the work involve? Depending on your skills, your workdays will include, for example: Operating and setting up CNC machines Preparing blanks Turning gears Machining steel Measuring components and quality assurance You will gradually be able to develop your skills in more demanding machining work as well. What do we hope for from you? You will be well equipped to get started if you have: Education in the metalworking field Some CNC machining experience, for example from work, an internship or other practical tasks Basic machining skills and experience using measuring instruments A careful, motivated approach to work and a desire to develop your skills Sufficient Finnish language skills to work in the role Readiness to work two shifts Experience turning large components or using Heidenhain controls is an advantage, but not a requirement for selection.
