We are looking for sales assistants for the Prisma pool!
The jobs in the Prisma pool are permanent and part-time, 10–20 hours per week. Work is intended to start as soon as possible by agreement.
In the Prisma pool, you will work at different locations: Prisma Itäharju, Prisma Mylly, Prisma Länsikeskus, Prisma Piispanristi, Prisma Tampereentie and Prisma Naantali.
What does the work involve?
The pool sales assistant’s duties are varied and active. They include customer service, checkout work, stocking shelves, collecting grocery orders, and general organising and cleaning. The work is fast-paced and requires the ability to move from one task to another. Store work is physical: we move around a lot during the day, lift and move goods, and spend the whole day on our feet. Shifts vary and include weekdays and weekends, although most shifts are in the mornings. Working hours follow the stores’ opening hours. You can check the opening hours of our locations under Services – TOK.
How does working in the pool differ from a traditional sales assistant role?
Pool sales assistants work at several units within the pool’s area. Working at different units gives you the opportunity to join different teams and brings more variety to the work. The role requires you to be able to travel easily between every location in the pool area at varying working times. Having access to your own car is considered an advantage, especially because of the locations and shifts.
What kind of person are we looking for?
You are the sales assistant we are looking for if you enjoy a varied working day, take initiative and meet customers with a positive service attitude. Pool work takes you to different units and teams, so flexibility, teamwork skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations are important. You should also be comfortable with physical shift work and varying shifts. Previous experience in sales assistant duties is an advantage.
A sales assistant’s pay is based on the collective agreement for the commerce sector. The hourly rate is €10.89–€14.57 depending on education and years of experience. Evening, night and weekend supplements add to the base pay. You may also receive an incentive payment of up to €1.20 for each hour worked.
