Buyer, parental-leave replacement – Bucher Hydraulics Oy, Tampere We are looking for a Buyer for our client Bucher Hydraulics Oy for a parental-leave replacement lasting approximately 12 months in Hervanta, Tampere. The role is also well suited to someone at the beginning of their career who has experience using enterprise resource planning systems and an interest in industrial procurement. Bucher Hydraulics Oy is a hydraulics company based in Tampere, founded in 2008 and previously known as Hydman Oy. Since 2025, the company has been part of the international Bucher Industries group. It designs and manufactures customer-specific hydraulic manifolds and special valves, particularly for machinery and equipment manufacturers. Bucher Hydraulics is a financially stable and growing company that combines the strong expertise of a local work community with the opportunities of an international group. What does the Buyer role involve? As Buyer, you will be responsible for the operational purchasing of components needed in production. Your duties include creating purchase orders in the ERP system, processing order confirmations, monitoring delivery times and resolving any deviations. You will work closely with international suppliers and the company’s production planning team. The role can also be tailored to your previous experience and skills. What do we expect from you? - Previous work experience in relevant office duties, for example order processing or purchasing or sales operations - Experience using an ERP system (e.g. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent) - Good Excel skills are considered an advantage - Good spoken and written Finnish and English - An organised and accurate approach to work and the ability to learn new things quickly - Initiative, good cooperation and interaction skills, and the confidence to ask for advice when needed What do we offer you? We offer the opportunity to develop your skills in industrial procurement as part of a stable and growing international company. You will receive comprehensive induction and initially work alongside the current Purchasing Engineer. You will be supported by an experienced, close-knit work community whose members stay for a long time. The employment is full-time and is a fixed-term parental-leave replacement lasting approximately 12 months. You will be employed by WorkPower in a temporary agency-work relationship. The work is due to start in December 2026. Working time is 37.5 hours per week, with flexible working hours. The work is mainly performed at the company’s premises in Hervanta, Tampere, but occasional remote work is possible. Pay is determined by your skills and experience and is approximately €3,000–€3,700 per month. As the company grows, a longer-term employment relationship may also be possible after the replacement, but the possibility of continuing will only be clarified towards the end of the replacement.
