Buyer for an Industrial Company

We are looking for a buyer for our client for a fixed-term substitute position in Tampere! Job description In this role, you will be responsible for purchasing the parts and components needed in an industrial company's production. In practice, you will place purchase orders through an ERP system, monitor delivery times, process order confirmations, investigate discrepancies and coordinate the order process with suppliers, production and sales. From time to time, you will also help with purchase invoice processing and sales invoicing. Working time is 37.5 hours per week. The work has flexible hours, with the working day starting between 6:00 and 9:00. The employment contract will be made with Henkilöstöliiga for a fixed term. Work starts by agreement during December and continues until approximately the end of November 2027. After the substitute period, there may be an opportunity for permanent employment directly with the client, but this will only be confirmed during the substitute period. What we expect from you To succeed in the role, you need recent work experience in suitable office duties and experience using some kind of ERP system. Experience in purchasing in particular is considered an advantage. You do not need to have several years of experience; the role is also suitable for someone at an early stage of their career. Other required qualities include fluent Finnish and English, good IT skills, initiative and the ability to work with routine tasks. This is an approximately 11-month fixed-term substitute position at a long-established, strongly growing company. The work is mainly office-based, but occasional remote-work days are possible. The terms of employment follow the Technology Industry salaried employees' collective agreement, and the salary will be agreed based on your previous skills and experience.
