Work Experience Placement in Vireko's Catering Kitchens

Hi! Come and join us for a TET placement to experience the lively everyday life of a catering kitchen! Vireko has two catering kitchens in Kuhmo: Kuusenkuiske and Satumetsä. Both are daycare kitchens. Each kitchen can host one TET student at a time. Vireko's kitchens do important work with good food every day. We prepare tasty meals that bring joy and well-being to our customers' day. During your TET placement, you will get a look behind the scenes of a professional kitchen and try a variety of tasks. Your placement days may include dishwashing, unloading deliveries and other kitchen-assistance tasks. You will also get to learn about cleaning work here. Every day is a little different, so there will be plenty to do! We have a friendly, skilled team that will help you get started and guide you through all the tasks. You can take your time getting to know working life, learn new skills and see what working in meal services is really like. You will receive help and guidance with all tasks. We provide work clothes, but you should bring your own indoor shoes. We offer you lunch from our menu. The application period is open until 31 October 2026.
