Legal Trainee

eQ is a group focused on asset management and Corporate Finance. eQ Asset Management offers a range of asset management services to institutional clients and private individuals. The group’s assets under management amount to approximately EUR 14.3 billion. The group includes Advium Corporate Finance, which provides services related to corporate and real estate transactions and capital arrangements. Further information about the group is available at www.eQ.fi. eQ is looking for master’s students for several interesting trainee positions The eQ group is looking for master’s students in the final stages of their studies to work alongside their studies in different asset management teams or in roles supporting asset management. Trainee work begins on 11 January 2027, and the placement may last 6–12 months. Further details of all available trainee positions can be found at www.eq.fi. Legal Trainee The legal trainee will work in eQ’s legal affairs team, focusing particularly on legal matters concerning real estate investments and other unlisted investments. Duties include, for example: - assisting with the acquisition and sale of real estate; - preparing documents and reports related to real estate ownership and financing; - assisting with legal questions relating to leasing; - assisting with legal questions concerning other funds managed by eQ and investment activities; and - assisting with other legal tasks related to asset management and the eQ group’s operations, such as contract, corporate law and administrative matters. What we expect from you - An analytical, careful and solution-oriented approach to thinking and working - A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently - Good communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work smoothly with different teams and tasks - An interest in the finance industry, motivation to learn new things and willingness to take on varied assignments - Law studies progressed to the master’s phase - Excellent Finnish and English skills - Good command of MS Office tools What we offer During the trainee period, you will become part of everyday life in the finance industry and work with professionals in different areas.
