Maintenance Fitter, Service Center Southern Finland, Karjaa Raasepori Quant is a global market leader in industrial maintenance, operating at around 60 sites and employing approximately 1,700 people. Maintenance is our passion, and we take pride in professionally achieving our partnership goals. In Finland, we operate as Quant Finland Oy and form a strong team of around 250 employees. Are you looking for work where you can really use your hands, solve problems and repair machines and equipment in practice? Would you like to be the person who keeps industrial machines and lines running without unnecessary downtime, and who can handle tools even when things get challenging? We are looking for a maintenance fitter to strengthen the Karjaa Service Center team in Southern Finland. In this role, you will be at the heart of industry and see the concrete results of your work. Together with the team, you will ensure that our customers’ production runs safely, smoothly and efficiently. The work is varied, independent and suitably challenging, and no two days are quite the same. What you will do You will work in an industrial environment both at the Service Center and at customers’ production facilities. Your days will consist of preventive maintenance as well as urgent troubleshooting and repairs—sometimes planned calmly, sometimes requiring a quick response. - Carry out mechanical installation, maintenance and repair work on industrial production equipment and lines. - Take part in troubleshooting and urgent repairs with the rest of the team. - Perform preventive maintenance and condition monitoring according to plans and instructions. - Keep records of completed work and report observations clearly in the systems. - Ensure safe working and follow occupational safety instructions without compromise. - Take part in service and repair assignments involving travel and on-call shifts according to customer needs. Who we are looking for We are looking for a practical person who enjoys an industrial environment, takes on challenges with a positive attitude and is not put off when a bolt is particularly tight. You are comfortable using tools and enjoy getting machines and equipment working again through your own skills. Your background can vary; what matters most is initiative, a willingness to learn and an interest in industrial maintenance. - You have a technical education, for example a vocational qualification in mechanical and production engineering, electrical engineering or automation. - You have at least one year of experience in maintenance, industrial installation or similar work. - You can read technical drawings and instructions at least at a basic level. - You communicate fluently in Finnish and can use English in technical situations. - You are ready to travel for work assignments and take part in on-call duties, and you value occupational safety even when things are busy. - Electrical qualification S2, coded welding skills and hydraulics knowledge are considered an advantage. Why work with us You will join an internationally operating, privately owned industrial maintenance company with long experience and a large group of experts to support you. We specialise in maintenance for manufacturing industry and industrial customers, and continuously develop ways to improve safety, productivity and equipment performance. Although we operate globally in a technically demanding environment, day-to-day life is straightforward, approachable and good-humoured. For us, safety is not just a poster on the wall but the starting point for every day. We also make sure there is a positive working atmosphere, that people speak directly and that help is available without having to ask. Supervisors are close to everyday work, support your development and listen when you have ideas for better ways to carry out maintenance. What we offer We offer a stable and safe workplace where you can develop into a leading maintenance expert in a demanding industrial environment. We invest in continuous learning and training and in opportunities to broaden your expertise with machines, equipment and processes. It is important to us that work and the rest of life can be combined sensibly and that your calendar is not constantly at its limits. We also provide comprehensive occupational healthcare and well-being benefits such as sports and culture benefits. You will be part of a relaxed but skilled work community where cooperation, open communication and mutual trust are part of everyday life. We encourage initiative and improvement suggestions: if you see a better way to do things, we want to hear about it. How to apply If this sounds like your next move and you enjoy work where you can genuinely repair machines and equipment, submit your application through our website by 8 November 2026. Briefly describe your background, practical skills and why you would be a good addition to the Karjaa team, and attach an up-to-date CV.
