Retail Sales Assistant for On-Call Shifts

Hello, grocery retail professional! Have you gained experience in S Group or K Group stores, and is customer service your thing? We are now looking for checkout-ready staff for stores in Jakobstad and nearby municipalities. There is an ongoing need in the area for experienced checkout workers. As a sales assistant, you play a crucial role in shaping the customer's shopping experience—you may be the customer's only point of contact during their visit. In addition to checkout duties, your tasks include advising and serving customers, unloading deliveries, and displaying products. You will work in busy, varied environments and different duties, and get to meet many new colleagues. You must have previous checkout experience in S Group or K Group stores, as it is not currently possible to train people for checkout shifts. We are looking for people who are ready to work checkout shifts. The employment is on an on-call basis, with hours offered according to store needs. Shifts are usually offered at short notice, and employees are often needed for a shift on the same day. The job is therefore well suited to someone who can plan their own schedule and flexibly accept different shifts. Work begins as soon as suitable people are found. Pay is €13.13–€14.93 per hour, depending on your previous work experience and education. The employment contract is made between the employee and StaffPoint.
