Practical Nurse

We are hiring a practical nurse for a fixed-term position at the Wäinämöinen care home in Valkeakoski for the annual leave and Christmas period. What we expect from you - A practical nurse qualification, JulkiTerhikki registration and experience in elderly care. We consider experience with memory disorders and palliative care an advantage. - Comprehensive nursing care for residents, a warm resident-oriented approach and knowledge of rehabilitative care. - Teamworking skills and familiarity with primary-nurse work. - The job also includes activities for residents and accompanying them outdoors. - Valid Love medication training, PKV, Kipu 1+2 and GER 1+2. A hygiene passport and vaccination protection under Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act. The selected candidate must present a criminal-record extract showing no offences under the Criminal Records Act before signing the employment contract. - To ensure safe care for residents, we require good spoken and written Finnish.
