We are seeking a Service Supervisor to lead daily operations in home care at Kissanmaa, supporting staff to succeed in their roles and developing services with a skilled team. The supervisor is responsible for the smooth day-to-day work of home care and remote home care, shift planning, staff competence support, and the appropriate and cost-efficient use of resources. Work is guided by the organisation’s strategy and targets, ensuring high-quality services. You will collaborate closely with staff, clients, relatives and partners, and help solve arising day-to-day situations. This role offers an opportunity to influence safe, high-quality, individual home support for older adults. The qualification required is a social and health care higher education degree (AMK) or an equivalent earlier vocational degree. A broad view of home care services for older people and sufficient administrative leadership training are required. Prior experience in home care supervision is advantageous. You should have strong communication, cooperation and negotiation skills, as well as organizational and stress-resilience abilities. A responsible, open-minded and solution-oriented working approach, self-management skills and the ability to use data-based decision making will support your success. We hope you have a genuine interest in developing staff wellbeing and high-quality home care. The position is permanent, starting 1 October 2026 or as agreed. A six-month probationary period applies. The job is full-time with a standard schedule of 38 hours 15 minutes per week. The selected candidate must have vaccination protection in accordance with section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016) and must present a police certificate as per section 6(4) of the Police Act before taking up the position.
