Physiotherapist for a rehabilitation specialist position in Oulu Would you like to do meaningful work in vocational rehabilitation and help clients find new opportunities in working life? Avire Oy is seeking a physiotherapist for a rehabilitation specialist position at its Oulu location. What does a rehabilitation specialist’s work with us involve? As a rehabilitation specialist, you will work in varied vocational rehabilitation duties. Your work will focus on vocational rehabilitation assessments and individual guidance and coaching for clients. You will assess clients’ work ability, functional capacity and overall situation, support the progress of the rehabilitation process, and help find solutions for planning the client’s future. Your work will also include: - cooperation with networks and different stakeholders - client acquisition and making services known to partner organisations - guidance, advice and coaching for clients - planning and delivering group-based services - remote coaching for clients of our other locations. What we hope for from you The person selected must have a physiotherapist or occupational physiotherapist qualification. We particularly value experience in vocational rehabilitation services and a proven track record of working with rehabilitation clients. Other work experience that supports the role is also an advantage. We expect you to have: - a solution-focused approach that supports clients’ strengths - an active, responsible and development-oriented attitude - good cooperation and communication skills - the ability to work independently and as part of a team - an interest in network cooperation and service development. We also value knowledge of the service system and regional service network. Terms of employment - The employment is permanent. - Work begins by agreement at the start of 2027. - The work is initially part-time, and the workload varies according to the number of clients. - Some duties can be performed remotely. - Pay is determined under the private healthcare sector collective agreement, based on pay grade 5. - Before starting the role, the selected person must present a criminal record extract under Act 504/2002 on checking the criminal background of people working with children and young people. - We are a smoke-free workplace.
