Experienced CNC Machinist

Alsiva Oy, a contract manufacturer of aluminium and zinc die castings, is hiring two experienced CNC machinists for its factory in Lehmo for a technically central role. We are looking for a highly skilled person in machining and programming who wants to take responsibility for measurement, quality assurance and the development of machining. As a CNC machinist, you will be a technical key person in our machining department. You are responsible for CNC machining and programming as well as planning and prioritising your own work and managing the machining sequence. You will also actively contribute to the development of machining. You will work in a machining environment with 16 machining centres, including two automated robotic cells. Our machine fleet includes vertical- and horizontal-spindle Haas, Brother, Fanuc and Mazak machining centres. We manufacture complex, high-quality aluminium die-cast products and continuously develop our workshop using automation. We hope you will enjoy working with us! What do we expect from you? We expect several years of experience in CNC machining and strong CNC programming skills. You can read technical drawings and work independently with programming and machining tasks. You have experience using measuring equipment and a good understanding of the basics of measurement technology. We value CAD/CAM skills and experience using 3D measuring equipment. You are proactive, responsible and precise, and you care about delivering high-quality results. You want to develop your skills continuously and approach new challenges and learning with enthusiasm.
