Receptionist

We are seeking a receptionist for our client Aava Glass Igloos for the upcoming winter season. Aava Glass Igloos offers guests a unique opportunity to experience the magic of Lapland in a high-quality accommodation setting. We are looking for a customer service professional who wants to help create unforgettable experiences for guests in an international operating environment. As receptionist, you will be the calling card of Aava Glass Igloos and an important part of the guest experience. In this role, you will be the face of the resort and an important part of guests’ overall experience. You are the first person guests meet when they arrive and the last person they see when they leave. That is why we are looking for people who are natural and elegant customer service professionals, able to give guests a warm and personal welcome and who understand the high service expectations of luxury travel. You want to exceed customers’ expectations and ensure that every visit remains a remarkably good experience. Role description As receptionist, you are responsible for welcoming guests and ensuring a smooth service experience throughout their stay. You will work as part of a skilled reception team in an international environment where service quality, attention to detail and an excellent guest experience are central. Your duties include: - Welcoming guests and providing high-quality customer service - Check-ins and check-outs, and handling payment transactions - Managing reservations and using reception systems - Advising customers about resort services, activities and local attractions - Taking customers’ wishes and special needs into account - Close cooperation with the resort’s other departments - Ensuring a first-class service experience in every situation We are looking for someone who: - Is a natural, polished and genuinely service-minded customer service professional - Enjoys working with international customers - Can meet guests warmly, professionally and individually - Recognises customers’ needs and can anticipate them - Acts calmly and solution-orientedly in busy situations too - Works carefully and accurately with systems and reservations - Wants to be part of a high-quality service culture We require: - Previous reception experience in a high-end hotel, resort or other premium or luxury travel environment - Experience in demanding customer service and a strong service attitude - Excellent English skills - Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems - Applicants to be of legal age - Your own car to make commuting practical - Knowledge of Finnish and English We offer: - The opportunity to work in a high-quality international resort environment - Valuable experience in luxury travel and premium services - A skilled and supportive work community - Competitive pay based on experience and expertise - The opportunity to develop into a leading professional in tourism and hospitality Employment details Work starts on 9 November.
