Practical Nurse

We are seeking an employee for home services for families with children. We are seeking a skilled, reliable and proactive employee for home services for families with children in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The work takes place in families’ homes and is independent, responsible and varied. Some client families have children with neuropsychiatric needs and children requiring special support, so experience working with these children and their families is very important for the role. The required qualification is a suitable qualification in social services or healthcare. Suitable qualifications include, for example, practical nurse, Bachelor of Social Services, social instructor, home helper, childcare worker or disability support worker. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in early childhood education or a kindergarten teacher qualification may also be accepted. Students of social services, nursing, public health nursing or midwifery may also apply if they have completed at least 75% of their studies. The qualification or required amount of completed studies must be verifiable before starting work. We require previous experience working with children and families, an independent and responsible approach, and fluent Finnish. Previous experience working with children with neuropsychiatric needs or children requiring special support is a strong advantage.
