Property Maintenance Technician

The City of Forssa’s Facility Services unit in the Technical and Environmental Services department is seeking a proactive and motivated employee for varied property maintenance and upkeep duties. In this role, you will work as part of a skilled team, but the work also requires the ability to work independently and make decisions in different problem situations. We value good communication and collaboration skills and a practical approach. The role also includes participating in the facility services on-call rotation and carrying out on-call duties. The qualification requirement is suitable vocational training or sufficiently extensive and long work experience in similar duties. Basic IT skills are considered an advantage, and knowledge of HVAC and building-services technology is considered a particular advantage. The position-specific salary at the start of employment is €2,442.52 per month, and pay is determined in accordance with the collective agreement for municipal technical personnel. The role has a six-month probationary period. The selected applicant must have at least a category B driving licence. Before employment begins, the selected applicant must provide an acceptable medical certificate of health. The City of Forssa is a smoke-free workplace.
