Part-Time Sales Assistants

We are now looking for part-time sales assistants for the Kuopio store. Sales assistant duties at Puuilo include, among other things: Customer service: Sales assistants are Puuilo’s face in everyday customer interactions. The customer base is broad and diverse, so the workday includes different encounters and situations. Customers value a willingness to help and problem-solving skills in every situation. Checkout and information desk work: Workdays include both checkout and information desk duties. Information desk work includes handling customer complaints, resolving possible problems and renting out trailers. Shelf stocking and displays: One of the sales assistant’s most important tasks is to ensure deliveries are unpacked onto shelves and made available to customers. Displays ensure that current products are easy for customers to see and access. Varied customer service situations and duties: Puuilo sales assistants have varied duties, including collecting online orders, cutting carpets and goods sold by the metre, exchanging gas cylinders and helping customers with product questions. Cleaning: Store staff take care of the cleanliness of their own store. There is a cleaning day once a week, and staff also maintain general cleanliness in customer and staff areas every day. Puuilo is fast-paced, with the crackle of walkie-talkies forming a big part of its culture. You want to do all the sales assistant duties and enjoy varied work. At times, you are ready to use a forklift to load a wood-burning oven into a customer’s car or operate a floor-cleaning machine in the store. What we hope for from you: - A proactive and energetic approach to work. - The ability to cope with pressure, as work can sometimes be hectic. - Reasonable or good physical fitness, as the work is very physical and involves many steps during the workday, up to 15,000. - Interest in Puuilo products; you may also enjoy doing DIY projects from time to time. - Enjoyment of meeting people and the ability to handle different situations. - Retail experience is an advantage but is not required. - Availability to work between 6:00 and 20:00 on weekdays and weekends.
