We are looking for a nurse interested in multidisciplinary nursing and new challenges to join us in a permanent position on Assi Hospital’s primary care ward 5B. The work begins on 1 January 2027 or by agreement. Primary care ward 5B is on the fifth floor of Assi Hospital. Our ward has 17 patient beds. We care for adult patients who need follow-up care in different specialties and who come to us with a physician’s referral, for example from specialised care, health centre doctors’ appointment clinics or emergency services. A nurse’s duties include acting as a nursing specialist, providing patient care together with a multidisciplinary team in accordance with agreed treatment plans, supporting patients’ functional ability, rehabilitation, and guidance for patients and their families. The nurse participates in varied medication treatment according to the medication plan. The work requires cooperation and interpersonal skills, as well as a positive and committed approach. We hope you bring these qualities too. The ward operates 24/7 and the work is in three shifts. We work closely with Assi Hospital’s specialised medical care internal medicine ward 5A. We are a training-friendly unit and boldly renew our nursing practices. We also actively use various digital applications in our nursing work. In addition to the position-specific salary, we pay an experience-based increment of 3–8%. The amount of leave accrued is also determined by length of service. Working time is 38.25 hours per week. The probationary period is six months. In direct patient and client work, the vaccination protection required under section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and the assessment concerning respiratory tuberculosis under section 55 are required.
