Would you come to work with us as a gig worker or for a longer substitute assignment, helping ensure our clients’ quality of life and safety? We are looking for practical nurses and nurses, as well as students in the final stage of studies in these fields, for practical nurse duties. You can work gigs when it suits you. Work can begin flexibly during autumn, and you can continue taking shifts throughout the year. We pay according to the collective agreement for private social services, and pay is determined by the duties. Practical nurse duties include supporting clients with everyday activities, medication care, documentation, and providing one-to-one support and activity sessions. In addition to varied care work, you can help make clients’ everyday lives meaningful. We know starting a new job can feel daunting at first, but colleagues will gladly orient and help new team members. Paloharju Validia House is intended for clients who need particular attention and have significant limitations in functioning and mobility, as well as social, mental health or cognitive challenges. These challenges may relate, for example, to sensory regulation, impulse sensitivity and social interaction, including substance-use and mental health issues. Pay according to the collective agreement for private social services: the practical nurse pay grade is G20C. What we expect from you Suitable education in social services and health care, or studies in their final stage. Registration in JulkiSuosikki or JulkiTerhikki as a protected professional in social welfare or health care. You must be at least 18 years old. Fluent Finnish. Vaccination protection under section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis assessment under section 55. You must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Act on the Supervision of Social Welfare and Health Care.
