Senior Business Lawyer

We are looking for an experienced lawyer to join our team in Oulu or Helsinki. Norra is Northern Finland's largest law firm. We specialise in business law, and our services cover all key areas of business law. Our clients include small and medium-sized companies, listed companies and growing startups in Finland and internationally. More than 20 professionals now serve our clients from our offices in Oulu and Helsinki. An experienced lawyer for demanding business law assignments At Norra, you will handle diverse and demanding business law assignments independently and take responsibility for them as part of a team, in cooperation with the partners. Your role will be defined according to your expertise and interests. Your work will include assignments in at least one of the following areas: · Commercial contracts · Real estate and construction · Environment, infrastructure and energy · Employment law · Dispute resolution and litigation You will work directly with clients, contribute to developing client relationships and support your junior colleagues. Our work centres on supporting clients' businesses in all situations and throughout the different stages of their business. Who are we looking for? We are looking for a lawyer with at least five years of experience in business law, for example at a law firm or in a company's legal department. Experience in one or more of the areas listed above is an advantage. We value the ability to handle demanding assignments independently, a precise and careful approach, business-oriented thinking and an active approach to client work. We require: · A Master of Laws degree (OTM) · At least five years of work experience in business law · Excellent Finnish and good English skills The following are considered an advantage: · The Finnish Bar examination or qualification as an attorney and/or the title of varatuomari · Litigation experience · Other language skills What matters most to us is a genuine interest in the work and a willingness to learn.
