CNC Lathe Operator

We are looking for a skilled CNC lathe operator for long-term work in the machine shop industry. There is plenty to do in a busy working environment with a strong order book, and skilled workers are genuinely needed. In this role, you are not just a machine operator. We are looking for a CNC lathe operator who can handle programming, measuring and the machining process, and take comprehensive responsibility for their own work. What does the work involve? You will work with Mazak- and Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes. In addition to machining, the work includes programming, measuring components, quality assurance and handling materials. The components require precision. A single component may have dozens of dimensions to inspect, so confident use of measuring instruments and careful quality assurance are an essential part of daily work. Your workdays include, among other things: - CNC turning on Mazak- and Fanuc-controlled machines - CNC programming and editing programs - Measuring components and quality assurance - Handling different materials - Collecting materials from the warehouse by forklift - Packing finished products - Keeping the machines and your workstation in proper condition and tidy What do we expect from you? We are looking for someone with previous CNC turning experience and sufficient skills to work independently. You need: - Experience in CNC turning - CNC programming skills - Familiarity with Mazak and/or Fanuc controls - Good command of measuring instruments - Knowledge of materials - A precise, quality-conscious approach to work - Forklift-driving skills - Readiness to work with several machines What do we offer?
