Job description

Sales Representative in Seinäjoki – Come help us protect homes Would you like to gain work experience that will genuinely benefit your future career? Does a job where you meet new people, develop your skills and influence your own earnings sound like what you are looking for? You could be our next Sector Alarm team member! Meaningful sales work We are looking for energetic, goal-oriented people who want to develop, to join our encouraging team in permanent employment. As a Sector Alarm sales representative, you help protect people’s homes, bring peace of mind to everyday life and, at best, save lives. Demand for home security services continues to grow. We offer consumers and small businesses a highly rated alarm system as a service. Our Trustpilot rating is 4.8 out of 5. A snapshot of your workday Working hours You generally work weekdays from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. You can work full-time or part-time; part-time means three consecutive full workdays. Starting the day The day starts with your team at our sales office. You practise the different stages of sales under your supervisor’s guidance and set goals for the day. Meeting customers From the office, you head to different residential areas, usually with your supervisor driving. There, you independently contact residents and arrange appointments at their homes, often for a later time. You meet dozens of new people each day. The work is active and mobile, with an average of more than 10,000 steps a day. Customer meetings at home You sit down with customers and discuss how our service can help keep their everyday lives safe. Listening matters just as much as talking. You handle the sales work; a separate installation team installs the equipment, so you can focus on understanding customer needs and offering suitable solutions. Wrapping up In the evening, the team gets together to review what it learned, share successes and talk about the day. What skills will you develop? Sales work builds confidence, negotiation skills and the ability to meet different people. Every customer interaction is a chance to improve, and each day brings variety, challenges and successes. The right attitude matters: being active, courageous and eager to learn will take you far. Door-to-door sales is considered one of the toughest forms of sales; succeeding here prepares you for many other challenges. You will work in a culture guided by customer focus, a desire to develop, reliability and goal orientation. We offer concrete opportunities to grow into roles with more responsibility. Many of our current supervisors started as sales representatives. How we support your success Training and coaching You receive a thorough induction and ongoing coaching. Daily sales practice and guidance from your supervisor support your development. You will also complete the five-stage sales training programme at our Sector Way Academy. Team spirit and ongoing support Although the work is independent, you are not on your own. We support one another and keep in touch through an active chat culture. Your supervisor helps you set ambitious goals and plan how to reach them, gives feedback and guides you towards the actions that support your progress. Career opportunities There are career opportunities in Finland and internationally. Many of our sales representatives have progressed to sales manager roles in less than a year, and in 2025, 50% of sales supervisor positions were filled internally. The experience you gain can also support your future career elsewhere. Competitions and awards We organise sales competitions and challenges and reward success. Top performers may also earn a place on memorable training trips abroad. We compete in good spirits and encourage one another to reach shared goals. What we offer The opportunity to influence your earnings Your pay consists of sales-based commission and monthly bonuses. Our best sales representatives earn over €6,000 per month, and the average sales representative earns approximately €2,200. The highest monthly earnings so far this year have been €10,250. Well-being and employment benefits We provide occupational healthcare through Terveystalo, a lunch benefit, and sports and culture benefits. Team spirit and events You will join an energetic group of people who share successes and challenges. Our annual awards gala, summer parties and sales-organisation events are part of working life. You can find us on Instagram and TikTok. A workplace recommended by our employees Our employee satisfaction surveys show strong results. The sales team’s employee net promoter score is 80, compared with an average of 20–30. What we require You must be at least 18 years old, have excellent Finnish skills and have a clean criminal record. What we expect You are active, courageous and motivated, and learn from setbacks. You communicate well with different people and build trusting relationships. You work independently, take responsibility for your work and ask for help when needed. You set goals and work towards them, want to develop in sales and customer service, support your colleagues and enjoy friendly competition. You can work weekdays from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., either full-time or part-time on three consecutive days. Interested? Apply by leaving your contact details; it only takes a few minutes. Our recruiter will call you soon so you can discuss your future with Sector Alarm. If you have questions about the role, call our recruitment team on 045 490 7484 on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
