Cloud Engineer

Build one of Finland’s largest Azure environments! K-Group is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer for Azure Capacity Services to strengthen our Capacity & Integration Services team. In this role, you will take part in designing and developing K-Group’s Azure-based capacity and platform services and their governance models in a business-critical hybrid cloud environment. You will be responsible for Azure capacity management, infrastructure automation and the continuous development of cloud services, working with internal experts and external service partners. What you will do - Design, develop and optimise Azure capacity services and hybrid infrastructure platforms. - Design and develop the architecture of Azure network solutions and connectivity services. - Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions with Terraform. - Improve infrastructure scalability, performance, availability and cost efficiency. - Ensure security, compliance and continuity requirements are met on Azure platforms. - Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation. - Assess and develop solutions delivered by external providers. - Support business IT units and projects on cloud and infrastructure matters. - Work with network, security, integration, platform and application teams. - Contribute to service roadmaps, technical standards, governance models and best practices. What we expect from you Required expertise: deep understanding of Azure capacity management and cloud infrastructure services; strong Terraform skills and experience with Infrastructure as Code; advanced Azure networking expertise and knowledge of telecommunications networks; good understanding of on-premises data-centre infrastructure and capacity management; fluent English. We also value a development-oriented and process-driven approach, excellent communication and documentation skills, experience working with strategic partners, the ability to connect technology with business needs, and an initiative-taking team player with strong stakeholder skills. Additional skills considered an advantage: knowledge of architecture and service-management frameworks (TOGAF, ITIL); knowledge of security and compliance requirements in infrastructure environments; practical experience with DevOps and CI/CD operating models; experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud services; experience designing and maintaining hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
