Finance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join Ricoh Finland on a fixed-term basis to cover parental leave. The contract will be for a minimum of 14 months, with the possibility of extension. The preferred starting date is in late November or early December 2026. As Finance Manager, you will take overall responsibility for finance in Finland and act as the sole local finance professional. The role combines solid accounting expertise with commercial understanding and close collaboration across an international organisation. You will report to the Nordic CFO and work closely with the Finnish sales organisation as well as Ricoh's international Shared Service Center teams. What will you be doing? Your key responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for Ricoh Finland. Monthly reporting and forecasting follow tight Group deadlines, making strong coordination skills and the ability to maintain a clear overview of the finance function essential. Your responsibilities will include: - coordinating month-end closing, monthly reporting and forecasting, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery - monitoring and analysing the P&L and balance sheet and maintaining a clear understanding of the overall financial position - ensuring compliance with Finnish accounting and tax requirements as well as IFRS principles - working closely with Ricoh's international Shared Service Center teams and other finance stakeholders - coordinating annual reporting and year-end processes and working with external auditors and tax advisors - contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes - acting as a commercial finance partner to the Finnish sales management and sales organisation - supporting the local organisation with various ad hoc finance-related questions. The role may also include other finance-related responsibilities depending on changing business needs and priorities. You will not be expected to do everything yourself. Many of the operational finance processes are handled by international Shared Service Center teams. Your responsibility is to understand the Finnish business, maintain oversight of the finance function, ensure the accuracy of the figures and work with the relevant stakeholders to keep things moving. What are we looking for? To succeed in this role, you should have solid experience in finance and accounting and be comfortable taking ownership in an international environment. We are looking for: - strong accounting skills and a solid understanding of the P&L and balance sheet - a commercial mindset and an interest in understanding the business behind the numbers - solid IFRS knowledge - experience working in an international environment, ideally within a listed company - experience with year-end processes and collaboration with external auditors and tax advisors - the ability to work independently and manage priorities under tight deadlines - fluent Finnish and English - strong Excel skills. Previous experience with Oracle/OERP, Power BI and EPM/HFM reporting tools is considered an advantage. Just as importantly, we are looking for someone who is proactive, approachable and comfortable communicating with different stakeholders. As the only finance professional based in Finland, you should be comfortable asking questions, reaching out to international colleagues and independently finding the information you need.
