Production Account Manager

LP Group Nummela is a versatile contract manufacturing unit in the metal industry that serves as an outsourced manufacturing and production partner for its customers. The factory manufactures demanding components and subassemblies for machinery and equipment manufacturers, using sheet-metal, tube, welding, wire-work, surface-treatment and assembly technologies. PRODUCTION ACCOUNT MANAGER We are looking for a production-focused account manager to manage and develop relationships with assigned industrial customers. You will be the customer’s main point of contact and ensure the smooth operational and commercial management of accounts in cooperation with production, procurement and other stakeholders. The role focuses on developing existing customer relationships. Your responsibilities You will manage incoming orders and work planning end to end in cooperation with production, procurement and other internal stakeholders. Your daily work includes: - Managing and processing incoming orders - Quotation calculations, pricing and commercial follow-up - Monitoring existing production - Starting new projects and production runs - Monitoring material flows, stock levels and delivery times - Reviewing customers’ technical documentation and drawings - Following deliveries, changes, quality and schedules - Close cooperation with customers and LP Group’s production organisation You will work as part of an experienced customer service team and receive support from established practices and an expert organisation. The role does not include active new-customer acquisition. To succeed in the role, you have - Experience in manufacturing, a machine-shop environment or subcontract manufacturing - An understanding of metal-industry manufacturing methods, such as sheet-metal processing, welding, surface treatment, machining or assembly - Experience working with customers or a strong interest in account management - The ability to understand technical drawings and manufacturing processes, as well as the importance of quality in production - Good IT skills and fluent use of the M365 environment - Technical education, such as an engineering degree from a university of applied sciences, a master’s degree in engineering or a technician qualification, or equivalent practical experience - Fluent Finnish and the ability to work in English Familiarity with ERP and 2D/3D design software is an advantage.
