Production Manager

We are looking for a Production Manager for the grocery e-commerce automated warehouse (MFC) at K-Citymarket Ruoholahti for a permanent, full-time position, as the current Production Manager moves to a new role within Kesko. You will report to the Production Director responsible for grocery retail warehousing and the Supply Chain Director for e-commerce and non-food goods. You will work closely with the Ruoholahti K-Citymarket merchant, e-commerce key personnel, Kesko experts, system suppliers and transport partners. You will be responsible for: • Leading warehouse production, setting goals and putting them into practice in line with customer commitments. • Cooperation with transport companies and developing the smoothness and reliability of transport processes. • Continuously developing operating methods and processes together with key personnel and stakeholders. You will succeed in the role if you understand the overall operation, set a clear direction for the work and get different parties working towards shared goals. We expect you to have: • Experience in logistics, leading warehouse operations or managing another operational entity. • Evidence of goal-oriented leadership, using metrics and improving results. • A strong development mindset, interest in developing e-commerce logistics and the ability to turn projects into lasting operating practices. • Excellent collaboration, negotiation and communication skills, and an open, solution-focused approach. • Good IT skills, experience using ERP systems effectively, and an interest in automation and data-driven management. • A suitable higher-education degree in logistics or another field supporting the role. • Good Finnish and English skills. Knowledge of grocery retail and food e-commerce is an advantage, as is experience with automated warehouses, warehouse management systems and development projects carried out in multi-party environments.
