Espoon Taksikuljetus is looking for a full-time taxi driver to Helsinki and the surrounding areas. We have plenty of shifts as we operate social and health transportation for the West-Uusimaa and East-Uusimaa welfare regions, working through Taksi Helsinki and Lähitaksi and also handling many of our own orders through our app. Clients prefer our service because of the excellent quality we provide. A taxi driver license issued by Traficom is important for the job, but not strictly mandatory—you can also train, and we help with training and obtaining the license if needed. Having a Lähitaksi driver license is considered advantageous. For the job it is essential that you hold a Traficom taxi driver license; good Finnish language skills; taxi Helsinki driver license is particularly valuable though not obligatory; a bus driver license and professional competence are considered beneficial. Note that our drivers operate as independent professionals and invoice their work; this is not a salary position. Compensation is based on sales and agreed jointly. We operate a diverse fleet mainly consisting of Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen vehicles. Our depots are located in Espoo’s Leppävaara area with good transport links, but cars don’t stay long in the depot—the shifts are with the drivers, so you will likely have access to a car close to your home.
