We are seeking a motivated early childhood teacher to join Illenpihan unit in Vantaa. This temporary position involves implementing a responsive and safe daily routine where the child is the center of activity. The team comprises two teachers and one childminder; the successful candidate would join as a substitute with potential for permanent employment. The unit is part of the Illenpihan early childhood education group, collaborating with Illenpuiston day care. We value experimentation, supportive teamwork, and inclusive practice, using ProVaka as our approach to developing social skills in children. Proficiency in Finnish writing and speaking is required. The role includes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, participation in development projects, and involvement in evaluation and care routines. The application period begins 04.08.2026 and ends 18.08.2026 at 16:00. Salary is determined by the Municipal Teachers’ Agreement (OVTES); base pay is 3129.46–3234.53 EUR/month with possible supplements for education and experience. The position is full-time with a six-month trial period.
