We are looking for an emergency preparedness manager for a maternity leave replacement starting from September 1, 2026, or as agreed. This is a unique opportunity to work for Finland's largest employer, responsible for the country's broadest social, health, and rescue services. We offer a position in a dynamic and expert organization. The emergency preparedness manager works in the administrative unit of safety and preparedness, led by the sector safety manager. This role collaborates closely with health and substance abuse services to develop their readiness and preparedness. Your responsibilities include guiding and coordinating internal preparedness, contingency planning, continuity management, and risk management within your designated service package, as well as directing and aligning exercises and drills. Additionally, you will develop and oversee the situation picture process related to readiness and preparedness, and coordinate civil protection planning. As an emergency preparedness manager, you will support the service package leader. To succeed, you need excellent cooperation, negotiation, and presentation skills, along with deep expertise in preparedness gained through work and studies. You are self-driven, proactive, solution-oriented, and interested in social, health, and rescue sector preparedness and risk management. Good oral and written English skills are an advantage. Knowledge of overall security networks is also valued.
