We are seeking a motivated early childhood education teacher to join Illenpihan unit in Vantaa. The unit is part of the Illenpihan early childhood education group, in collaboration with Illenpuisto, located in Kartanonkoski. The role involves implementing a sensitive and safe daily routine where the child is truly at the center of activities. You should be prepared to engage, try new approaches, and read the needs of children and the team, using different operation models. The team is energetic, committed, and collaborative, with two teachers and one child care worker in the group. The position is a temporary substitute, with potential for permanent later. ProVaka model is used to support the children’s social skills, and you will work according to its principles together with other staff. We value good Finnish language skills (written and spoken). Prior experience in early childhood education is an advantage. The job is full-time, with a 38 h 15 min per week schedule. The contract is a fixed-term arrangement with a six-month trial period. Salary: 3129.46–3234.53 EUR per month, with additional allowances for relevant qualifications (15 EUR/month for general qualification, 37.88 EUR/month for master’s degree) and 3–8% seniority-based increases. The job requires a police background check and tuberculosis clearance for those working with under-6s. Work location: Illenpihan unit, Vantaa.
