Join us in creating a sustainable society powered by clean energy and reliable connections! We are currently seeking a substation main diagram designer for a permanent position. You can work from any of Enersense's offices and/or remotely with flexible hours. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within our leading team specializing in substation design, supported by a dynamic and collaborative work community. The position is within the Power Business Unit, where we assist clients in implementing the energy transition through comprehensive services covering the entire energy sector lifecycle. These include the design, construction, and maintenance of transmission networks, substations, and battery storage systems. The business also provides solutions related to data center electrical substations. Job Responsibilities: - In the role of main diagram designer, participate in the technical planning of Finland’s largest substations and battery storage systems, from tendering to final construction documentation. - Utilize your expertise in designing various electrical systems in both large new projects and small modification projects. - Participate in the procurement and tendering processes for the designed systems. - Act as an expert in your area of specialization. - Collaborate as part of a highly valued substation design team, which includes experienced professionals ready to support you from the start of your employment.

Krav

  • Suitable technical education (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree)
  • Previous experience in designing substations and/or secondary systems
  • Good project management, negotiation, and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with CAD-based design software (MicroStation, Tekla, AutoCAD); experience with 3D modeling is advantageous
  • Flexible and proactive working style
  • Knowledge of electrical standards and general quality requirements
  • Familiarity with the specifications of high-voltage substations (Fingrid) is beneficial
  • Fluency in Finnish and good command of English
