Receptionist

Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna Vaasa is a cozy city hotel in the center of Vaasa. We are now looking for a night shift receptionist for a fixed-term position. In your role you will handle hotel reception services at night and contribute to guests' smooth stay. Your duties include greeting guests, assisting them, handling check-ins and check-outs, and other daily reception tasks. We seek a person who enjoys customer service and understands the importance of service as part of a successful hotel experience. Success requires initiative, responsibility and accuracy. We especially value a positive attitude, solution orientation and a genuine desire to help guests. What we expect: customer-service mindset, responsibility and thoroughness, ability to work independently and under pressure, good communication and cooperation skills, flexibility in changing situations, willingness to provide high-quality service and find solutions to various situations, prior experience in hotels or reception work is considered an advantage, and proficiency in Finnish, Swedish and English. The contract is fixed-term until spring 2027 with a possibility to extend thereafter. Working hours are 30–45 h / 3 weeks according to your availability, and pay is determined in accordance with MaRa TES.
