Technical Second-Line Support – public-sector software solutions – Espoo We are looking for a motivated and organised technical support specialist for a public-sector systems support team in south-eastern Espoo. You will work with public-sector key users and support socially significant built-environment systems. Location: South-eastern Espoo, mainly on site Start: As soon as possible Employment: Full-time, permanent employment contract as an Academic Work consultant Work type: Staffing assignment Other: Possibility of partial remote work Role description You will work as a technical specialist in our client company's second-line support team, supporting key users at its public-sector customers. These include municipalities, regions and government organisations that use the client's solutions for land-use planning, building control and asset management, among other purposes. The work is independent specialist work, supported by a close-knit team and direct contact with experts in product development and customer projects. Your responsibilities You will provide technical support to key users, investigate complex software and environment issues, and contribute to the product development lifecycle. Your working day will include tasks such as: Providing high-quality technical software support to customers' key users. Investigating and resolving issues related to software use and system environments, especially MS SQL Server. Documenting product-development needs, improvement suggestions and defects. Installing new software versions in customer environments. Contributing to the development of the support unit's services and practices. Who we are looking for Required: Relevant education, for example in IT, surveying or a related field. Strong Microsoft SQL Server database skills. Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English. A strong customer-oriented approach and a desire to provide excellent technical support. Readiness to work on site at our office in south-eastern Espoo. Considered an advantage: Knowledge of surveying or public-sector processes. Previous experience with municipal geographic information, property or enterprise resource planning systems.
