What would you do with us? We are now looking for a Software and Cloud Engineer to strengthen our systems product development team. As our business grows, we are seeking a new colleague to work with Azure-based solutions, modern software development and identity management. The role combines cloud development and software development. You will contribute to developing Aventra’s own products and to designing and implementing customer solutions. In practice, your work may include designing, developing and maintaining Azure environments, building automation, and developing Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and DevOps solutions. You will also take part in application development using Microsoft technologies and work closely with both product development and customer project teams. You will work on a varied range of new solutions and the continuous development of existing services. The focus of the role can also be adjusted to your interests and expertise, for example towards cloud architecture, software development, DevOps or technical solution design. The employment is permanent and full-time, and the contract is made directly with Aventra. We work in a flexible hybrid model and have pleasant, modern office premises in Pitäjänmäki, beside the railway and the Raide-Jokeri light rail. We especially hope you will be regularly present at the office at the beginning, so you can get to know our team and ways of working. What do we hope for from you? A strong practical background in software development is the foundation for succeeding in this role. You may have a background as a full-stack or backend developer, or as a software developer focused on cloud development. What matters most is that you enjoy coding and are enthusiastic about developing modern cloud-based solutions. We hope you have experience in software development with C# and .NET technologies, as well as Azure or other cloud environments. We also value skills in Infrastructure as Code solutions, Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools, Git and modern DevOps practices. Experience with Vue.js, React or other modern frontend technologies will support your success in the role. Experience with REST APIs and integrations, Microsoft Entra ID, SQL Server, Entity Framework, and solutions related to information security, identity management and access rights management will be an advantage. In addition to technical skills, we value initiative, accountability and good problem-solving skills. You want to develop your expertise continuously, work comfortably both independently and as part of a team, and communicate technical matters clearly to colleagues and customers.
