Practical Nurse

The Koivistonkylä home-care team’s facilities are near central Tampere and have good transport connections. In Koivistonkylä home care, we work in clients’ homes, respecting and valuing clients and their homes. As a practical nurse, your work is varied care work where you can make use of your flexible approach and sense of responsibility. You work independently in clients’ homes in cooperation with the client, relatives and other home-care employees. You support clients’ independence and ability to manage at home using a strengths-based approach. High-quality care for clients is central to your work. Why apply to us? What kind of colleague are we looking for? You are a licensed practical nurse with a protected professional title in social welfare and healthcare, or a practical nurse. You have a category B driving licence. You have completed the practical nurse LOVe online medication-treatment tests. We hope you have gained experience in home-care duties and are genuinely interested in older people and their wellbeing. We value good interpersonal and teamwork skills, initiative, and an approach to work that maintains the client’s functional capacity. The position starts by agreement. A six-month probationary period applies to the permanent employment relationship. Working hours are full-time, averaging 38 hours 15 minutes per week. The work includes morning and evening shifts, including weekends. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract under section 6(4) of the Criminal Records Act before employment begins. Vaccination protection under section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016) is strongly recommended. Welcome to our work community!
