Legal Counsel

Greenstep is expanding and we are seeking a corporate law expert to strengthen our Legal team at the Espoo office. The role focuses primarily on corporate and contract law, as well as corporate and ownership arrangements for client assignments. You will join a growing Legal team consisting of 14 corporate and tax services professionals in Finland and Sweden, and will collaborate across the organization with finance and HR colleagues. The position offers opportunities for growth and development through diverse client projects, and may include internal corporate mandates. The team largely works from our Espoo office, but follows a hybrid model with at least half of the time in the office. You will work independently but with teamwork support. Responsibilities include advising clients on corporate and contract law, participating in corporate and ownership arrangements, and serving as legal support throughout clients’ business lifecycles. Engagements span various sectors from startups to listed companies, with matters including M&A, share issues, mergers, financing, large contract portfolios, IP, municipalities’ needs, and labor law. We also welcome cross-disciplinary collaboration across the organization. What we expect from you: a completed OTM degree; approximately 5–10 years of experience (with room for a slightly more experienced candidate). strong expertise in corporate and contract law, including corporate, structuring and financing arrangements; fluent Finnish and English; strong interpersonal communication, both written and oral. Additional experience in other legal areas or in consultancy or law firms is a plus. You should be organized, solution-oriented, able to work independently, and capable of handling multiple projects.
