CNC Vertical Turret Lathe Operator (Fanuc)

Looking for permanent work in demanding metal manufacturing and with heavy components? We are seeking an experienced CNC vertical turret lathe operator for our client in Pori for a full-time, permanent position. You will work in a skilled team manufacturing large equipment and machined parts, including for the needs of the marine industry. Key tasks and areas of responsibility Operating and programming the vertical turret lathe: machining and setting up large components, and programming directly through Fanuc controls. Heavy metal machining: turning large castings and structural components, up to 5 m in diameter. Materials include stainless steel and structural steel. Interpreting technical drawings: reading dimensions, geometric tolerances and demanding machining drawings. Using precision measuring instruments: carrying out independent in-process measurements with arc and micrometer gauges and machine-based measuring equipment. Meeting tight tolerances: manufacturing single pieces and small batches to dimensional accuracy of up to 0.02 mm. Skills required Work experience: at least five years of experience in CNC vertical turret lathe work and heavy machining in single-piece and small-batch production. Controls: strong knowledge of the Fanuc control system and the ability to program at the machine. WinCAM or Mastercam skills are an advantage. Language skills and right to work: Finnish language skills or good English, and a valid right to work in Finland. Approach to work and shift work: a flexible attitude and readiness for two-shift work (Monday–Friday, 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00). What we offer Pay: Technology Industry collective agreement, €15.00–€18.00 per hour (depending on skills and experience). Employment: permanent and full-time, 40 hours per week.
