Sheet Metal Press Brake Operator

We are looking for press brake operators in the Seinäjoki and Lapua area for different metalworking opportunities. Varied press-brake duties may be available, for example at companies specialising in sheet metal processing. The work Your duties may include bending various metal sheets, operating and adjusting press brakes, and checking the quality of finished components. Work may involve producing individual pieces as well as production runs of different lengths, so working days can vary considerably. The machines may include Amada and Aliko press brakes, with working widths ranging from 3 to 4.6 metres. Work is often carried out in two shifts. Exact working hours and duties depend on the workplace. What we hope for from you - Previous experience in metalworking and press-brake work - Basic knowledge of sheet metal processing and technical aptitude - A careful and proactive approach to work - A positive attitude and willingness to learn - Fluent Finnish - Readiness to work two shifts Previous press-brake experience is an advantage, but you do not need to know how to operate Amada or Aliko machines specifically. Experience with other press brakes is also useful. The most important things are a positive attitude and motivation to develop your skills. You will receive training based on your previous experience so that you can get started smoothly. What we offer We offer an opportunity to gain work experience and develop as a press brake operator. Assignments may be of varying lengths, and the start date will be agreed according to your situation. Employment usually begins as a fixed-term temporary-agency assignment through WorkPower, but you may have the opportunity to continue directly with the client company after the fixed term. Some positions may also be filled through direct recruitment by our client companies. The collective agreement used by the client company applies to each employment relationship; this is often the Technology Industry collective agreement. Pay reflects the requirements of the role and your previous experience and skills. For example, at the start of a press-brake assignment, pay may be approximately €13–17 per hour, depending on the duties and your skills.
