ANDRITZ Warkaus Works Oy, EduTec Oy, and the Central Savo Employment Area are organizing a joint recruitment training program, after which successful participants will be employed in permanent full-time positions in the metal industry at Andritz. All trainees will receive pipe welder training. During the first six months, work will be carried out through Osuma Personnel Services. The practical, classroom-based training will prepare you for independent work and provide opportunities to develop your skills into a professional in the metal industry. ANDRITZ Warkaus Works Oy is a machine shop located in Varkaus, Hasinmäki, manufacturing demanding pressure parts for soda and power boilers for industrial needs. We offer products and services for new plants as well as repair and modernization projects, in accordance with customer quality and safety requirements. Our machine shop aims to serve customers more efficiently and environmentally friendly, while providing our staff with a comfortable, modern, and safe working environment. The training includes industry-required certification courses and covers topics such as: * Basics of welding * Manual welding tasks * Machine and product drawings * Work and operational quality, and economic operation * Maintenance of welding machines and measurement of welding The training can be tailored according to the individual’s strengths and skills for different production tasks. The training is free of charge for participants. Target group The intensive training is well suited for career changers or those already studying in the field, as motivation for learning new skills is the most important criterion for applying. An advantage is a basic qualification or skills in mechanical, production technology, or construction fields. Finnish language skills at level A2 are required. Need more information?
