Are you the nurse we are looking for for day shifts in the endoscopy unit at Kanta-Häme Wellbeing Services? We have a permanent position available starting August 3, 2026. Our facilities are located in the brand-new Ahvenisto Hospital in Assi. What kind of work community and team awaits you? Endoscopy operations have been renewed from the beginning of 2026. With the move to Assi, the endoscopy activities of Kanta-Häme Wellbeing Services have been centralized mainly in one new facility equipped with modern technology. Currently, only Riihimäki Hospital has a satellite unit for endoscopy. The endoscopy unit employs eleven permanent nurses, two secretaries, and several doctors, forming a multidisciplinary team. We also work closely with the surgical outpatient clinic regarding nursing resources. The unit performs gastrointestinal and lung endoscopies, including ERCPs and other anesthesia-based procedures, as well as pediatric gastrointestinal endoscopies. We are also responsible for colorectal cancer screenings within the wellbeing area. Endoscopy is a specialized field requiring enthusiasm for learning. Our goal is to ensure good care and excellent service experience for our clients. We pay special attention to optimal pain management and precise diagnostics. We treat our clients individually and provide high-quality, responsible, and reliable care. We use modern and high-quality equipment. What does your workday include, and what do we expect from you? Your workday consists of clinical nursing. We hope you enjoy teamwork. We prefer candidates with previous experience in endoscopy and outpatient work. We are eager to develop and renew our operations and expect a positive attitude towards development. A licensed nurse qualification is required. Participation in medication management requires a valid medication license, which can be updated or obtained at the start of employment if necessary. In addition to the base salary, we pay experience-based supplements, which can be 0%-8%. The accumulation of vacation days is also based on service time. The working hours are 38.25 hours per week. In direct patient and customer work, vaccination protection required by the Infectious Diseases Act §48 and a tuberculosis clearance as per §55 are mandatory.
